Florida Keys Electric Car

Life in the Leaf Lane. For two Florida Keys years we had a new Leaf on life! Leaf now Bolt later? Enough.

All 6 of us Key Largo Jones’s were slower on the carbon consumption since 2014 we ferried 5 family members in our Florida Keys Electric car!

Leaf now Bolt Later. Chronicles of Florida Keys Electric Car F…

Life in the Leaf Lane. For two years we went Leaf on life. Leaf now Bolt later? OK. All 6 of us Key Largo Jones's were slower on the carbon consumption since 2014 we ferried 5 family members at least 110 miles per day on a single charge (quick re-charge at home or slow at any wall plug) this Nissan Leaf was the first in the Florida Keys. Jones have #zeroemission (from our Leaf at least) and Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary breaths one less exhaust pipe, which keeps us all fed and healthy, we hope #solarpower kicks #nuclearpower in the pants (come on FPL). Cheers to our anticipated Chevrolet Bolt 2017 238 mile range (yes!) Slate Gray of course. http://www.chevrolet.com/bolt-ev-electric-vehicle.html watch this space for more Chronicles of the Jones Florida Keys Electric Car Family.

To read a challenge to the carbon footprint theory go here. Prager University weighs up the carbon benefit of electric cars.

I’m rooting for Solar to power these things, but it’s #nuclearpower until further notice. Our little Nissan Leaf went at least 110 miles per day on a single charge (quick re-charge at home or slow at any wall plug) this Nissan Leaf was the first in the Florida Keys. That charge goes down when the a/c, lights, wipers, stereo are used!

But as of now, the Jones choose to believe they have #zeroemission (from our Leaf at least) and Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary breaths one less exhaust pipe, which keeps us all fed and healthy, we hope #solarpower kicks #nuclearpower in the pants (come on FPL). For a good argument about exactly what kind of Carbon footprint the electric car leaves. Go here. http://youtu.be/17xh_VRrnMU
